Mae agoriadau nef y nef
Yn crogi wrth ei wregys Ef,
  Angau ac uffern fawr yn nghyd;
Yr orsedd fawr — a'r goron wen,
Sy'n awr yn ddysglaer ar ei ben,
  Enillodd drwy ei angau drud.

Am waith ei gariad ar y groes
Moliennir Ef o oes i oes,
  Tra byddo cyfrif oesau'n bod;
Digrifwch pur y nef a'i gwaith,
Hyd eithaf tragwyddoldeb maith,
  Fydd edrych arno
      a chanu'i glod.

The keys of the heaven of heaven are
Hanging from his belt,
  Death and great hell together;
The great throne - and the white crown,
Which is now shining on his head,
  Were won through his costly death.

For the work of his love on the cross
He is to be praised from age to age,
  While there be any counting of ages;
The pure delight of heaven and its work,
Until the utmost end of vast eternity,
  Shall be to look upon him
      and sing his praise.

The powers of the highest heaven,
The keys of death and hell, are given
  To Him that died on Calvary;
The brightest throne, the crown with gems,
His head bedeck'd with diadems,
  Are laurels of his victory.

For his great work to save the lost,
Rejoice,ye saints,with God's great hosts,
  Till heav'n and earth shall be no more,
And join the praise of this grand throng,
Who with their everlasting song
  The Lamb of Calvary
      adore.
